Chris & Joanne Pre-wedding Shoot at Yarm

Chris and Joanne recently were married at Kirby Hill Church followed by a marquee reception at Joanne's family home, watch out for these images soon! Looking at their wedding reminded me what a lovely set of images we got on their pre wedding shoot down by the river at Yarm.

Katie Ballet Images

A couple of months ago we photographed a very talented dancer Tom, as he was needing some images for his portfolio. So when he mentioned that he had a little sister Katie who was also very much into dance, (Well who wouldn't be when your Mum runs a dance studio, Dimensions Dance Academy), we were delighted to photograph her too. Katie was so poised and elegant she was the perfect model!

Lisa & Pete Woodhall Hotel

Lisa has been planning her wedding for such a long time, that we couldn't believe it when the day finally arrived! We were very excited about shooting a wedding at Woodhall Hotel for the first time, it is an amazing venue, with lots of atmosphere and beautiful views.

We so enjoyed working with Lisa, Peter and their families, they were all so friendly and just loved having their photographs taken.

Lisa looked as beautiful as ever in her dress by Essence from Dobinsons of Darlington. The flowers supplied by Flowers by Nattrasswere vibrant and complimented the bridesmaids orange dresses perfectly.

The day was rounded off perfectly by the Cheatles. A perfect wedding day.

Trish & Lewis Headlam Hall Wedding

As soon as Trish & Lewis walked through the studio door we knew that we would have lots of fun with them, every time we meet they have loads of amusing stories, they are a great couple with loads of chemistry.

They had a beautiful wedding at Headlam Hall despite the rain, everyone had a lovely day.

We were so pleased when Trish & Lewis sent us these kind words we wanted to share them on the blog.

"From the first time we met Stan & Jane we felt as if we'd been friends for ages. We felt totally at ease discussing our requirements and even after our initial meeting went away with a feeling of total confidence. We knew that visiting other photographers would be a waste of time after this so we booked Jane and Stan right away !

We had a great time on the pre-wedding shoot- neither of us were particularly confident in front of the camera but with Stan's guidance and Jane's patience the results were amazing! It was so valuable in terms of a "practice run" and we had a ball!

Come the "big day" Stan & Jane arrived in good time and we hardly noticed them snapping away during our (separate) preparations! Nothing was posed or awkward and our friends and family felt as relaxed as we were. We had a fabulous Wedding Day despite the awful weather and Stan and Jane played a big part in that."

We were expecting to choose around 70 photographs for our album, but when we viewed them it was clear very quickly that we couldn't bear to part with that many so we ended up with a much larger album! The photographs were absolutely stunning- I can't put into words how we felt - seeing them was like re-living the best day of our lives again! The pictures captured the mood of the day exactly and seeing the facial expressions of our loved ones was priceless! It's easy to forget the details of your wedding day - it goes so quickly and you miss so much that seeing your photo's is quite emotional. The timing and skill that goes into capturing that is a real art.

We can wholeheartedly recommend Stan Seaton and Jane Miller- professional, passionate about what they do and a bloody good laugh! Thanks to them we have wonderful memories and precious photographs to last a lifetime.
