Hannah & Rob

Middleton Lodge

Hannah and Rob Middleton Lodge Wedding

Spring had finally arrived heralded by daffodils everywhere! Middleton Lodge is a beautiful venue at anytime of the year so it was good to be back again for Hannah & Rob’s April wedding.

After Hannah & Rob’s pre wedding shoot in Newcastle in extremely heavy rain we were praying for not too many April Showers.

The girls preparations began in the Farmhouse. This was our first visit to this fairly new addition to The Middleton Lodge Estate and it certainly was a great location for the family and the girls to relax and get themselves ready. The bridesmaids and Mum were then transported to the local church, St Michaels and All Angels in Mddleton Tyas only a mile or so up the road, by VW camper van, followed by Hannah and her father only a few minutes later in a VW convertible Beetle.

On arrival we all made a quick dash into the church to avoid the first of the showers. Once inside the very relaxed ceremony was conducted by the lovely Jenny.

Post ceremony we headed back to the back to The Lodge for Champagne and Canapes then into the Marquee for the Wedding Breakfast which was proceeded by funny and heartfelt speeches. Special mention to Rob’s brother and Best Man Aaron, who as part of his speech subjected Hannah and Rob to Mr & Mrs style questions with hilarious reactions!!

Leading into the evening, guests were entertained by magician Paul Lytton, who never fails to impress with his jaw dropping tricks before the first dance and disco.

The whole day was perfectly planned and ran like clockwork, due to Hannah’s meticulous planning (sorry Rob, I’m sure you helped!) with the help of the Anna’s and Team Lodge.
